56 graduands receive bachelor’s degree from Augustine University during convocation ceremony

Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, on the 26th of October, 2023, graduated 56 students from the Faculty of Humanities, Management and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Science.

The ceremony which kicked off at 11am had in attendance a host of dignitaries and guests. During the event, Mr. Femi Otedola, a renowned business magnate was inaugurated as the Chancellor of Augustine University. Mr. Otedola, in a bid to support education and ease the burdens of parents endowed 750 students with 1million naira each for school fees.

Subsequently, degrees were handed to the graduating students. 9 students bagged first class honours. Kehinde Ogunbanwo emerged as the best graduating female student from the Faculty of Science while Edim John Paul emerged as the best graduating male student from the Faculty of Science.

On the other hand, the Faculty of Humanities, Management and Social Sciences had Okhidievebe Rayna (female) and Karienren Ogheneruemu (Male) as the best graduating students from the faculty.

Meanwhile, Ogunbanwo Kehinde was celebrated as the overall best graduating student with a CGPA of 4.86. The event witnesses a host of dignitaries and guests, to mention but a few, the newly inaugurated Chancellor of Augustine University, Mr Femi Otedola, the Archbishop of the Metropolitan See of Lagos, His Grace, Most Rev. Alfred Adewale Martins, Professor Mike Ozekhome(SAN) represented by his son.
