AUI’s Faculty of Humanities, Management and Social Sciences Hosts 5th Seminar Series

On Wednesday, 8th May 2024, Augustine University’s Faculty of Humanities, Management and Social Sciences (FAHUMSS) conducted its highly anticipated 5th Seminar Series at the University Convocation Hall.

The seminar series featured distinguished presenters who captivated the audience with their insightful research and expertise.

Dr. Clara Osuji from the Department of English delivered a thought-provoking presentation that shed light on male-motherhood and the literary creativities of John Munonye in Oil Man of Obange and Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart.

Dr. Rukevwe Olughor from the Department of Business Administration offered invaluable insights into entrepreneurial resilience and success of SMEs in Nigeria using gender perspective.

Attendees were also enthralled by Dr. Epiphany Ladi-Suares’ enlightening discourse on Africa, debunking the common subterfuge that Africa was and would remain a poor continent.

The Vice-Chancellor of Augustine University, Professor Christopher Odetunde, graced the occasion with his presence and lauded the efforts of the presenters for their exemplary contributions to their respective fields of study.

The seminar provided a platform for robust intellectual exchange as participants engaged in lively discussions, posing questions, sharing comments, and making valuable contributions.

Also present at the seminar included the Dean of FAHUMSS, Professor Joseph Omoregbe, heads of departments, other staff members and students.
