Augustine University Mass Communication Students’ Week Kicks Off with Insightful Career Talk
In a dynamic start to Augustine University’s Mass Communication Students’ Week, the first day saw a riveting career talk featuring prominent mass communication expert, Mr. Lekan Otufodunrin, alongside other distinguished media professionals.
The event unfolded yesterday, 18th January, 2023 at the Convocation Hall.
Mr. Otufodunrin, a seasoned veteran in the field of Mass Communication, served as the keynote speaker for the occasion.
Drawing from his wealth of experience, he delved into the various career opportunities and challenges that await aspiring professionals in the ever-evolving landscape of Mass Communication.
The students had the unique opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge from Mr. Otufodunrin, who shared anecdotes and practical advice on navigating the intricacies of the field.
The event commenced with the official opening by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Christopher Odetunde, who expressed enthusiasm for the week-long program ahead.
Also present at the event included the Registrar, Mrs. Margaret Aziba, the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Amarachukwu Obayiuwana, Head of Department of Mass Communication, Professor Sunday Oloruntola, and other faculty members.
