Department Of Mathematical Sciences To Conduct SIWES Presentation On November 13, 2023

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Augustine University is set to host its Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) presentation on November 13, 2023.

In anticipation of the event, a brief interview was conducted with some 400-level students residing in their hall of residence. The students conveyed their preparedness for the presentation and assured an enlightening session for all attendees.

The SIWES program, a mandatory six-month experience for students in the Faculty of Science during their second semester at the 300 level, plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The presentation is scheduled to take place at the Software Lab, located in the Convocation Hall of Augustine University by 9am. This event promises to provide valuable insights into the real-world applications of mathematical sciences.
